About An electronic engineer by trade, A.T. Gomes writes science fiction, fantasy, mystery, and magical realism. If not working on her stories, she loves reading, attending writing workshops, and writers’ conferences. This is where she registers her impressions and chronicles her journey as a writer. Originally from São Paulo, she lived in Shanghai, Florida, Georgia, and finally settled down in California with her husband and two daughters. She completed UC Berkeley Extension’s certificate program in writing and was lucky to be a mentee in the SFWA Mentorship Program – Winter 2023. She’s querying a book about an actor with attitude problems who works as a “Costumed Performer” to pay the bills when AI constructs have taken over all acting jobs in movies and TV shows.
